Bethany Kent

Beth began dancing at the age of six, starting off in 'Majorettes', and soon developed a love of Street and other types of dance. Her love for Musical Theatre started when she was a little girl and since a young age, she has known that she wanted to be on stage! She holds a level 4 Diploma in Performing Arts and has also had some training off Broadway in New York and has had a wide range of teaching experience in both Dance and Martial Arts. Beth has been professionally trained in all three sections of performing arts; dancing, singing, and acting and has performed to a high standard on the amateur and semi-professional circuit. One of her most valued experiences was performing with the Gloucestershire Dance Company 'GDance' in a professional performance called 'Lost and Found', which gave her the opportunity to work with a wide and inclusive range of dancers. Other highlights include working at Pontins as a dancer, entertainer, and animator. Bethany has been with PQA for 8 years and during this time choreographed and helped direct West End productions, Trinity exams, musical directed G4 performances and created flash mobs. PQA has always been very close to her heart and she strives to bring the best out of every child she teaches, with her main focus being ‘building each other up, not knocking each other down’. Bethany is also a qualified Youth Mental Health First Aider.

Christopher Stimson-Machers

Ellie Venn

Ellie is currently a working film and television actor, having experience in many projects ranging from short films to feature films, from background artistes to lead characters, taking any and all opportunities presented to her. Not only this, Ellie is a competitive Ballroom and Latin dancer, competing solo and in a lady-lady couple at national competitions multiple times throughout the year, taking time to create dance accessories and decorate dresses for herself and her fellow dancers. Ellie began her musical theatre training in 2012 where she specialised in classical singing. Ellie graduated college in 2022 with a triple Distinction* Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts. She tried many different roles, characters and styles in a desire to push herself in all disciplines. This was largely down to her time at PQA as a teenager, further inspiring her and making her appreciate all aspects of the arts which has ultimately steered her to her current path within the film and television industry.

Isabelle Turner

Issie graduated from the University of Chichester with a BA Honours in Musical Theatre and Arts Development in 2020. During her time at university Issie performed in shows such as 'Copacabana' and 'Rent', while also helping fundraise for multiple charities. Issie has received a merit and 2 distinctions in her Grades 5 and 6 LAMDA Drama exams, she also received a merit in her Trinity Grade 6 exam in Musical Theatre. Issie went to SGS College in 2013 for 4 years to study Performing Arts and then Musical Theatre, performing in shows like 'Joseph and The Amazing Techicolour Dreamcoat', 'Children of Eden', and 'Pirates of Penzance'. Issie was a volunteer teaching assistant for 8 years at Shine On Stage before joining the team at PQA. After leaving university, Issie has kept acting as a member of the Cotswold Players, as well as filming and editing her own videos. She also has recently developed a small obsession with the music genre, K-pop.
